Welcome to the Fox Spring Farm Web Site. We are located West of Cochrane, Alberta in the beautiful foothills of the Rockies. We have been raising quality Small Standard Donkeys since 1988, Saddle mules for a few years and now Quarter Horses with Foundation working bloodlines.

Kim has a diploma in Animal Sciences as well as gone to Olds College for Horse Breeders School, former horse 4-H Leader and many years experience with all types of Equines. She even had a Zebra stud for some years and really enjoys ranch work with cattle and raising beautiful babies. Bruce has many years experience with Natural Horsemanship being world renowned clinician Peter Campbell's twin brother. He enjoys Ranch Roping and is very creative in the Leather Shop. Our children have all excelled in their chosen equine discipline and all of us have enjoyed our lives with our horses, donkeys, and mules.

Our Small Standard Donkeys are wonderful pets, guard animals, or companion animals. We have fancy colors, Canadian Donkey and Mule Association Registered Jennets, and a Palomino Jack. We have a few foals for sale each year and if you are looking for a special pet give us a call and we will talk on the fantastic personalities of donkeys.

Our Quarter Horses are willing all round horses with good bone and feet. Tremendous working blood lines- an asset to any breeding program or in the arena or a quiet ride in the mountains or pasture. With an added bonus of COLOR . Our Stud "Devil Beau" is register as a red roan he is, in fact a dun roan and will pass on the dun factor. Look further into the web site to see the rainbow of colored offspring. Beau was ranch raised in Montana and not only lived on the ranch, but worked there as well. Proving himself not only as a good using horse, he has also proven himself as a sire of good using horses.

His foundation bloodlines include, Lighting Bar, John Red out of Red Man, Beau Bonanza, Hank Wade by Bob Wade W, Three Bars Joe Reed II, Plaudit's Golddigger, Quincy Bar and Joe Hancock.

Our small select broodmare herd has bloodline that include Watch Joe Jack, Impressive, Mr. Diamond Dude by Blondy's Dude, Two Eyed Jack, Peponita Pine by Peponita, Hollywood Vandal, Doc Bar and Stormy's Alibi.

We have participated in a wide variety of horse activities including showing, roping, 4-H, parades, cattle working, breeding, colt starting, barrel racing, ranch roping, and ranch versatility.
